Kyle Daukaus vs. Kevin Holland ends without contest after accidental header
Kyle Daukaus vs. Kevin Holland was all advertised and always ended in controversy.
The two fighters met in a fight on Saturday night (October 2, 2021) at the UFC Vegas 38 event in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the facilities of UFC Apex.
This one didn’t last long as Holland was aggressive and Daukaus worked for a quick pullout. It didn’t work because Holland hung with him against the fence. They got separated and while Holland missed a left hook, Daukaus accidentally headed him and Holland was nearly knocked out, so he fell to apparently wake up when his face hit the mat. Kyle kicked him over and got his back in order to lock the back choke naked. The commission took a look at the replay and it was ruled that there was no competition.
