Center City SIPS back for summer 2022

PHILADELPHIA – Like it or not, Center City SIPS is back for 2022.

The popular 14-week program will begin June 2 and run through August 31 on Wednesdays at participating downtown Philadelphia locations.

Businesses that are part of Center City SIPS will be offering $6 cocktails, $5 wine, $4 beer and half-price appetizers every Wednesday after work.

The full list of participating establishments will be announced in the coming weeks.

Beam-Suntory, partner of SIPS, will highlight Hornitos Tequila as a featured spirit this year.

As return-to-work efforts ramp up, this once-in-a-lifetime promotion is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues while supporting some of the city’s best culinary and entertainment venues.

“After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, we’re excited to bring back SIPS, Center City’s premier after-work event as a benefit for our returning office workers,” said Michelle Shannon, Vice President of marketing and communications for Center City. District. “Furthermore, it will have a huge economic impact on our bars and restaurants who have worked hard to stay open and keep their staff employed. To maximize benefits and minimize costs to attendees, CCD is waiving all bar fees. of the Center City District will be participating in SIPS this season. We will cover all marketing expenses from our budget and with the support of our sponsors.”
