A parking dispute led to a shooting in the city center on Thursday

PHILADELPHIA — A parking dispute led to a shooting Thursday afternoon in downtown Philadelphia.

According to Action News, the incident took place around 1:50 p.m. on the 1700 block of Chestnut Street Thursday.

A food delivery driver allegedly double-parked next to another driver to take an order, leading to an argument that turned into a fight between the delivery man and another driveraccording to Fox 29.

The food delivery man knocked the other driver out, but when he regained consciousness he pulled out a gun and shot the delivery driver in the face and backreports NBC10.

The shooter then drove off in a small white van with a woman, according to NBC10.

A Good Samaritan took the victim to Jefferson University Hospital where he is in critical condition.

No one else was injured in the incident.

The police are looking for the shooter.
